Expressions of Interest

Melanoma and Skin Cancer Trials Ltd is seeking applications for two board director vacancies.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the Board’s strategic initiatives and vision for research and clinical trials to improve diagnosis and treatment of melanoma and skin cancer.

We welcome applications from the MASC Trials member network. Applications are particularly sought from women, and individuals based in Western Australia, South Australia, Queensland, Tasmania and rural and remote Australia to represent our diverse membership across the following identified gaps:

  • Clinical Specialty
    • Nursing, Allied Health, Public Health and Primary Care
    • Medical Oncology
  • Professional skills
    • Marketing, Communications, PR
    • Legal
    • Digital/Information Technology/Data analysis
    • Advocacy (government, policy)
    • Corporate Sponsorship & Fundraising

Board members become directors of our company registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission. They play a vital role in overseeing the governance and strategic direction of our organisation, participating in 10-12 board meetings per year. At least one face-to-face board meeting is held each year for strategic planning purposes. Discussions also take place via email. All Board positions are voluntary, with travel expenses paid for interstate meetings.
