About

The Australasian Merkel Cell Carcinoma Interest Group (AMIGOs) is a network of specialists across the globe working to advance the treatment and care of patients with Merkel cell carcinoma through clinical trials, and basic and translational research. AMIGOs was formed in 2017 and includes clinicians and researchers representing medical oncology, radiation oncology, surgical oncology, pathology, genetics, imaging and laboratory-based research, and consumer advocates.

The Australasian Ocular Melanoma Alliance (AOMA) works to improve care and treatment for ocular melanoma patients in Australia and around the world, and to further research into this rare form of melanoma. AOMA was founded in 2017 and includes ophthalmologists, surgeons, medical and radiation oncologists, pathologists, allied health professionals, scientists, researchers, and consumer representatives from across Australia and New Zealand.
