Clinical Trial Assistant / Administrative Officer

Melanoma and Skin Cancer Trials is seeking a motivated Clinical Trial Assistant (CTA)/Administrative Officer with sound administrative and organisational skills to undertake a range of activities to provide operational support to all team members for studies in the Melanoma and Skin Cancer Trials’ clinical trial portfolio.

The CTA/Administrative Officer will be required to ensure effective collaboration and team work in the clinical trial setting as well as active contribution to the broader aims of Melanoma and Skin Cancer Trials including membership activities.

This role requires excellent communication skills to manage relationships with Melanoma and Skin Cancer Trials members and researchers, clinicians, clinical trial staff, funders and university representatives both within and outside of the organisation and colleagues.

In addition, the CTA/Administrative Officer will assist with coordination of Melanoma and Skin Cancer Trials meetings, conferences, travel and events, support maintenance of relevant Melanoma and Skin Cancer Trials website content, membership applications, eNews and drafting of social media content, using graphic design tools.

The role requires to take initiative and operate independently and within a team.

This exceptional candidate will be highly organised with experience within a tertiary setting, preferably in a clinical trials environment.

This position will work under the supervision of the Research Manager and assist a senior staff member as delegated by the Research Manager.
