Concept Development Workshop

Concept Development Workshop

At our first Concept Development Workshop for 2024, melanoma and skin cancer investigators will receive peer-review critique on their research proposals from a range of our Discipline-Specific Advisory (DSA) members before progressing their proposal into a grant funding application. DSA members are leading experts in their respective fields and can offer significant experience in trial design and management.

Melanoma and Skin Cancer Trials Research and Development Officer, Dr Sam Hogarth, will facilitate the workshop. Melanoma and Skin Cancer Trials Consumer Advisory Panel Chair, Alison Button-Sloan and representatives from the National Technical Services (CREST and CQUEST) will provide feedback on consumer engagement, health economics and quality of life research elements. An NHMRC representative will also provide information on upcoming grant opportunities and host a brief Q&A session for grant-related enquiries.
